About Rfactory

Rfactory is a specialist consulting firm focused on trading performance.

We work with trading businesses, hedge funds, family offices, commodity and hedging organisations and serious market professionals who want to improve how they think, decide and execute.

Our work combines two areas that are usually treated separately: systems and process on one side, and the human side of performance on the other.

That means we can help with both the structure behind decisions and the quality of execution under pressure.

Some clients come to us for systems, workflow, automation or AI-related work. Others come for coaching, workshops and performance support. In many cases the real value sits in the overlap.

Everything we do is grounded in direct market experience, practical client work and years of operating in high-responsibility environments.

Sonal Darbar

Co-Founder

Sonal Darbar leads Rfactory's work on performance, mindset and execution under pressure.

Her background combines commercial, contractual and negotiation experience in complex corporate environments with more than 15 years of direct market experience trading personal capital. Before focusing her work on trading performance and coaching, she worked at Reuters, UBS and BP, across procurement, contracts, risk and stakeholder management.

Today she works with traders, investors, fund managers, wealth managers and other senior professionals to improve decision quality, confidence, resilience and execution consistency in demanding environments.

She is also an active trader herself, which keeps the work grounded in the realities of live markets rather than generic coaching theory.

She also publishes The Path of Least Resistance, a newsletter exploring performance, psychology and the human side of better decision-making.
